Hi all,

So I've been having problems where my bike will not start when it's wet. It turns over fine but will just not fire.

I've eliminated it down to something at the front of the bike as I've gone round it once it's warm and sprayed water on various sections and it only wouldn't start when I sprayed the front.

Does anyone have any knowledge/info on a connector or a switch that might be causing this. I've checked the run/stop switch and it seems fine.

Many thanks in advance

Phil

Check all wiring for breaks in insulation.

Narrow down your squirt-test. Don't spray entire bike with garden hose! Spray with small squirt-bottle on specific area, make note if bike still starts. Move on to mist one squirt on another area, test if bike still starts. Repeat. At some point, you'll find spraying some specific spot causes bike to not start.

Then examine that location closely.
