Does anyone know the specs on the oem needle on a 90 model mc22 set of carbs? Backstory I have a 89 mc19 that I bought sight unseen and imported to the US and it has had a set of mc22l carbs installed at some point. Problem is I've been dealing with a rich condition at idle and small throttle openings. After having the carbs off a dozen times I believe I'm getting some fuel bleeding from the needle and it is a different part number than what is called for in the manual j93b is what is called for and j4ga is what is installed.

Any know the needle tip diameter? The vp20a and vp20b call for different part number. I'm wondering if the vp20b needles are thinner/richer to go along with the richer mains on the b's . Also am i correct in saying that these are vp20b carbs?
