I've been working my arse off trying to get some decent after rear sets for cheap as possible so I can make a kit up to sell onwards so it's a win win situation.

I just bought 5 sets from ebay and they have set me some pretty bad ones. I have bought some before and they were pretty good in the past.

I'm think about scraping the idea of using the ebay ones and seeing if their is another set out there.

I know that banana logic bought some, but I've lost the link to them.

Can anyone help?

So in the meantime..DO NOT BUT EBAY REAR SETS FOR THE CBR'S UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

I got mine from these guys http://www.maxmcdirect.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DA06BH08&cat=14

and these guys can also source the beet ones http://www.jap4performance.co.uk/ and they are on ebay too http://stores.shop.ebay.com.au/jap4performance__W0QQ_armrsZ1

I am pretty sure both of these places source their parts from japan, so I think it would be worth seeing if you can get in touch with the japanese side of things, or try to find out who their suppliers are. I don't see why they wouldn't tell you, they don't really sell to australia so you wouldn't be too much competition to them, well the jap4performance place didn't seem like they wanted to sell to australia when I contacted them.
Coerce rear sets are supposed to be pretty good, aren't they?

I'm throwing around the idea of getting some new ones for my bike too...

What's the difference between "race footpegs" and "street fotpegs" and why are they $20 more for street?
Street will be longer, and probably fold back.

I asked about getting a group discount...nope.

I'm waiting to hear back from the other company.

that's what they told me too. if you like I can help you find out if it is possible to get them direct from the manufacturers, in about a week I will be on uni holidays so I will have lots of time to spare.

The race ones are also heaps higher. The ones on my race bike are so bloody high I had to pad out the seat so i could fit. They are from BEET and are top quality kit.

I have decided to sell my race 250 race bike to fund the rebuild of my 400 and should have a set for sale in a couple of weeks.

So are you thinking of making up and selling your own rearsets stud? Or did i misunderstand?

I thought he meant just the diff between the pegs? as in the rest is the same?

The lift can be a funny thing, I had my R6 set up perfectly for me, but when I put the race seat on I didn't really think it through, took me 2 days at the track to realise that the dropped seat height was making my pegs effectly 2 inches higher and fucking up my BP.

With the ebay sets for example it's not a straight buy and fit. You need a longer piece of brake hose, brake pressure switch, 4 bolts to mount the rear sets and make your own heel guards. There is also 2 holes to tap out.

That's why I was thinking to buy the rear sets and put some kits together if i could get the m cheap enough. I'd buy enough to have some for my bikes and rest to sell if enough interest was raised.

The idea behind this is most MC22 rear sets are bent now and to try and get a non bent one is a joke.

By the time you buy the parts you need from Honda for both side you up around the $250-$300 mark so for that sort of money why not have bling?
Good on ya mate! thumbs up!
