Choices.. 19 or 22 room for beer gut

I just joined your forum and it is probably an answer to a maidens prayer for technical advice but a bit tricky to sort the wheat from the chaff. when it comes to non-tech stuff. I have the option to get either a MC22 or MC19 for roughly the same price, both bikes are in similar condition and similar mileage. I understand the technical aspects of both and see them both of having pros and cons my issue is probably more about riding comfort. I am about 178cm with a bit of a beer gut, does anyone have advice? And don't tell me to get a 750!
