Over the past few years, Honda has introduced dozens of new powersports products. And this latest introduction of 2015 models keeps that momentum rolling with the addition of a new sport bike, significant updates to the CRF450R and CRF250R motocross machines, and the return of popular off-road products.


"We're unveiling some exciting new models along with returning favorites," said Lee Edmunds, Manager of Motorcycle Marketing Communications. "Our motocross bikes incorporate more race-proven technology for added performance, and the new CBR300R is a fun and affordable option for street riders. We're also rolling out the CRF150R/CRF150R-Expert, CRF230F, CRF150F and CRF125F/CRF125F Big Wheel that have proven to be so popular over the years, plus the unique Rincon for ATV enthusiasts."






CBR300R


Great for beginners and experienced motorcyclists alike, the new CBR300R now packs a 300-class engine that delivers a 17-percent boost in peak power compared to the CBR250R. With a full sport fairing, dual headlights and new exhaust system, the CBR300R takes its styling cues from Honda's larger-displacement CBR® series. New seat shaping and side covers provide an easier reach to the ground. With more power, nimble handling, affordable price and low operating cost, the CBR300R makes every ride a fun one. CRF450R


The CRF450R incorporates numerous changes throughout the engine for 2015 to yield higher performance, added durability and an extra level of tuning adjustability to match track conditions. An innovative Engine Mode Select button—an industry first among motocross machines—allows the rider to easily select one of three different EFI/ignition maps. An HRC® accessory tuning tool can be used to program custom maps actuated by the Engine Mode Select button. A new cylinder head—easily identified by its right-side exhaust port—and new exhaust system plus revised fuel and ignition timing settings for the Dual-Timing PGM-FI fuel injection help generate more top-end power and added overrev, and peak power now hits higher than before. A new KYB PSF air fork with high/low compression and rebound damping adjustments offers wider adjustability and delivers improved suspension action. New front/rear wave-style rotors with a larger 260mm front brake disc add to overall braking performance. New graphics also give the CRF450R a distinctive look for 2015. CRF250R


In 2014, the Honda CRF250R earned another AMA 250 Supercross championship. Equally important, the CRF250R stood out as the ride of choice for Pro Supercross racers. An impressive 48 percent of all competitors in the 250 class rode Honda's CRF250R in 2014. With a great powerband and nimble handling, the CRF250R strikes a unique balance that makes it fun to ride for both professional racers and weekend warriors alike. For 2015, the CRF250R offers a host of improvements, with a new-generation 49mm Showa Separate Function Fork, Triple Air Chamber (SFF-Air) air fork leading the way. This fork eliminates steel springs for less weight (2.8 pounds lighter) while offering a wider range of adjustments than a conventional spring fork. A redesigned muffler and new fuel map settings for the Dual-Timing PGM-FI fuel injection system increase engine performance for smoother acceleration, improved throttle response, quicker revving and more peak power. CBF150R/CRF150RB-Expert

CRF230F


The CRF230F stands at the top of Honda's family of fun off-road bikes. CRF150F

CRF125F/CRF125F Big Wheel


Designed for rider-friendly operation, the CRF125F and CR125F Big Wheel feature different wheel sizes to accommodate riders of varying size and skill level. With a seat height of 28.9 inches, the CRF125F places riders two inches closer to the ground than the Big Wheel, which caters to riders with a longer inseam. Both bikes feature a four-speed, electric-start 124.9cc single-cylinder SOHC four-stroke engine with loads of low-end grunt plus plenty of pull throughout the powerband. I know websites dont run themselves. And this is not disimilar to other really big ones but does this forum feel a bit faceless? Nickj care to comment? Can you advise why the setup is what it is? Is there to be more than this coming soon? Is this a trial? Is this meerly a framework applied from your other sites? An explanation would be cool. I mean wally threatening to go to ozcbr... holy crapola! Just saying that tokenistic involvement goes a long way. It is another big change "without warning" and change scares us.

^of course there is more advertising on the way. The forum was bought to turn a profit, there is no sugar coating that. Everything was left to settle for awhile and now the advertising will be introduced. Only time will tell how invasive it is.

I wasn't serious about the other forum, it's a ghost town :)

Thankfully as pointed out the post can be minimised so all OK, and if it's just random as threads occasionally, it can't hurt if it keeps the place going.

Anything more, hopefully Adblock works on :)

Sif Wally wasn't completely tongue in cheek. LOL.

But as for being faceless - I loved Rory, but lets be honest, since about 2008/9 he wasn't really an "active" member of the forum. He would chime in occasionally but primarily all the moderation that happened was from k916 and Jay.

Of course, there was that one time when he up and changed everything from MYSQL to MyBB and everyone bitched and moaned and said the forum was a bag of dicks. Yeah... There was that time when he was really active having to apologise for trying to make the forum more user friendly.

Bit rough to say it's faceless when the "ownership" style hasn't really changed.

Please - let's not get into this again though.

Who? Me? As soon as I saw the report of this, I deleted it and banned the poster. If you guys do your part and report these things, they'll be dealt with ASAP. If you don't tell us they're here, well......
