Hmmm that's pretty expensive for that. Mine 07 model was all good except for fairings and I payed $4500 although that one has only 1km and is 2010.

If it had been insured the wreck would belong to the insurance company. They would not sell it on Ebay.

Even so, your theory is still a lot more believable than most conspiracy theories.
