I thought I heard a faint NOOOOOOO up here in Rocky this morning. Any engine damage or is it all cosmetic?

Circumstances:- rear wheel lock (my fault) slid the back wheel out about 30cm in the seccond half of an S bend and that threw me out of line. I managed to recover marginaly and hold it for about 20m in a gutter completely full of mud.

Thinking I had recovered, as I didn't high side until the end of the corner, I came out of the gutter, wheels COVERED in mud (photo 1) and high sided immediately.

Another amature move by yours truely, and yeah no injuries again. I have a little boo boo on both knees (kevlar burn like carpet burn) from my sartso's, and one on my left leg from my pocket. And I hit the end of my knob on the tank when I got thrown off and it stung for about 5 mins.

Damage:- Think I did a rear wheel bearing as now my back end is loose and squeaky, something on the front end is twisted, not sure what yet though. and scratched up everything new I just put on it. ohh yeah, broke the flange of my header pipes that connects to the silincer. So now I really need new headers :-/ or I can do the dodgy and weld it.... again...

I was thinking that the flange part that connects to the cane looked different. Good to hear that your okay and that you survived to learn another lesson.

Looks like your ebay shorty lever held up too which is a good thing for another people that are thinking of buying them in the future.

They were from etshark if anyone wanted a set. I was not real happy with the clutch lever though, "adjustable" just meant how much clutch you wanted to leave engaged... It has to be on the farthest setting or it will still be engaged. Looks horn though :)
