Hi everyone, bit of a long one, I've been chasing down problems with my mc19 for a while now and have narrowed it down to valves/timing or cdi. Most other things have been checked. The bike used to run, but barely, with little power and was hard to start. I found the exuast was clogged with baffling material, and since taking it off and putting a new exhaust on it hasn't started. My thought is it toasted my exhaust valves or the valves in general are just tight but my question is wouldn't this give me bad compression? I'm getting 125 psi cold across the board. I'm going to do valve clearance anyway just thought I'd ask to try wrap my head around it and other thoughts/solutions I should try. What symptons does a bad cdi give? Also yes carbs have been cleaned twice

125 doesnt sound like bad compression to me. bad CDI issues can range from no start, to issues while hot, to issues while cold, to random misfires. leakdown test will point any issues with rings/valves
