If recalled correctly Eclipze dabbled or toyed with the idea a while back but since there was not enough expression of interest to make a certain amount of units, it wasn't worth his efforts. I would like him to make some though.

that's too bad... hopefully more people are interested in hazard blinkers now.

i myself have some ideas on how to set it up, but since my electrical knowledge is limited, i am afraid to wreck up my bike's electrics...

i got this from another motorcycle forum and it shows three diagrams for setting up the hazard lights, i'm just not sure how to set it up on a cibby or if the connections are safe and will not result in electrical damage

hopefully eclipze can check this out!

It would definitely be a mod I would fit (well, ASTAR would fit for me:D)

I think you could just wire up a system via the indicator light in the dash. From memory the light has to draw enough current to work in the system, so modifying this should make both lights flash at the same time.

Tony will explain it better and it shouldn't involve diodes and relays.

Gosh, I ever remember it ever being a problem, I forgot ciblets didnt have hazard lights until i saw this thread. I can understand why there wasn't much interest in them previously.

I cant think of one time i have used to use my hazzard lights except when i have been riding and hit them by mistake.

but as that old saying goes "i would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it"

right on the button with that saying dayeve, but i guess in my situation i will be needing it and be using it as sudden downpours are a reality specially during these rainy months. and am used to using hazard lights when driving my car.. overall i think it would be a safer way to ride with the hazards

if you make the resistance of the blinker circuit so high, all 4 blinkers will flash at once.. but you still have to turn the blinkers left or right to get them all to flash.

The easiest method would be to upgrade the flasher relay to something that can handle higher currents (than the stock). Then use a switch to short both indicator sides together. Turn the indicator on one direction and flick the hazards on.

Of course, it's illegal to use your hazards while moving, and doing the above would also stop the indicator light on the dash board from working.

yup we have tropical weather yes, why do you ask?
Just figured that if sudden down poors of rain are regular and a big issue you must live in tropical region.

Where I live, sudden down poors are rare events.

I'm not so sure hazard flashing would be the best arrangement for sudden down pour conditions. I'd much rather a good bright set of brakelights and some reflective items. Like reflector strips on the back of your boot heels and also up high, like on the rear of your jacket / helmet.
Come one Tony. How could you miss that sale!!!!

RAINLIGHT

Gee you're losing it :)
