Hi Guys,

Just joined this forum. Name is Ron and I'm from Canberra.

Bit about myself...been riding for 5 months and recently got off my L's and went out and bought myself a nice Honda VFR400 NC30 only just about 2 weeks ago (she looks excellent). The only problem is that, still restricted to LAMS, I did not correctly check, well didn't check at all really, and thus I cannot ride the bike.

Long story short, rather than wait 12 months to get my open licence to be able to ride it, I would rather it go to someone who can benefit from it straight away (preferably another Honda fan) because it doesn't deserve to just sit in the garage waiting for me.

If you would be interested or know someone who would, please PM me to get the full details. I won't post a number, email address or pictures just out of courtesy. I would really like to see it go to a good home.

Feel quite guilty doing this but I felt it neccessary to at least introduce myself first rather than head straight to the classifieds section and posting it there. Totally understand if the post is closed/removed. :)

Cheers.

Hey ron! Welcome to the forum and good on you for trying to do things in the right order!

Best of luck selling your bike - go ahead and start up a thread in the for sale section of the forum and put some pics of your bike up too - would really help your cause.

Unlucky about getting the wrong 400 though.

Just at work at the moment so I will post up the bike info when I get home.

Good idea to sell it, riding a 600 while restricted cost me $114!!!! :dodgy:

But seriously, if you have an accident you're screwed, it really is a good idea to stick with a legal bike.

Justin.

dayeve - unfortunately I just came off of a 250. the hunger for a bigger bike is quite strong

cams - I will be looking at the bike I should've bought now that I know, the RVF or maybe a Monster 400. I'll have to save up a bit more for either of those two.
