After being reversed into a couple of times, sometimes the bikes power just completely dies as I take a slow corner or won’t even turn on at all with the key. Checked the small fuse box by the battery and the ABS fuse box. As well as the main fuse by the air filter “door”. All fine. So I try wiggle some cables near the ignition or anything really, nothing. Then when it wants too, it just turns on as if nothing is wrong and starts up nicely. I don’t trust it enough to take it out as it would just eventually cut out with no sign of life at all. Might have to take it to an auto electrician, but if I can just do it myself I will. Any ideas?

This sounds like BAS issue. It's located between headlights

1. pull BAS and measure according to manual. Shake it up a little, measure again, still OK?

2. inspect wiring connector on both BAS and harness connector, all terminals intact,
not loose?

3. measure continuity between BAS connector and ECU connector. Wiggle wires while looking at readings. Nothing changes?

Yep so all good still, I’ve taken the tank off and all and checked, seems to be ok according to service manual, wouldn’t the BAS just shut the engine off? Not kill all the electricals? As it lit up with it unplugged? Went through all the wiring and I’m pretty sure it’s the ignition switch. Still idk might just have to take it to the shop

Does dash & lights go out when it shuts off?

Trace and check wiring from source: battery!!!

Wiggle and jiggle battery cables from where they connect to terminals. Then work your way forwards towards ignition-switch and dash. Also shake wiring going to ECU. Look for frayed wiring that may be shorting or disconnecting.

Any non-stock looking electrical-tape should be removed to inspect wiring underneath. There are several spots in harness with 3-5 grounds coming together. Common source of corroded wiring or broken connectors.
