Irwin Bolt Removers...do they work?

2668 Views 9 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Neishy
I've recently purchased a set of Irwin Bolt Removers to remove a rounded pressure plate bolt on my clutch (MC14e)...cracked the others with no issues, but i fucked the first one, and so now i need to remove it, somehow. Just wondering if anyone has used these in the past and whether or not they work, specifically on torqued up bolts. Cheers.

Can't beat a drill and an easy out I say !
I heard they dont work too well on stingrays :D
if its anything like a stud extractor it should do the job easy.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! omg i just lost my shit
use a single hex socket, and grind the bevel off it so it drives right to the bottom of the bolt head, and hammer it onto the rounded bolt

I used them to remove a rounded oil filter bolt, worked like a charm.
