Just wondering if anyone has done this and how much of a pain in the butt it was to complete?

I was just going to get an OEM seat and pull it to bits and use the base to put some foam on it (whats best foam and where do I get it?)

I'm sliding around all over the place on the stock seat and it gets frustrating so I'm hoping the foam seat will provide some more grip. It's for the track so comfort isn't an issue.

Thanks guys, just need to find a cheap OEM seat.

I checked your thread richo I'll be doing something similar :)
Nice one. You're a lot more meticulous than me so you'll probably come up with something better to do on the edges (mine are lifting- solved with racetape).

Keep us posted!

you boys have given me an idea.. i wanted a sbk tail type seat to go with my glass so i am going to use a stock seat plus fiber glass etc to get a nice set up going. will be handy to be able to access the battery too without having to take the tail off!!

i find the stock seat too wide and too soft and it lessens the amount of feed back

That's actually a very good idea cerb.

Also +1 to clark rubber. I got some gel inserts from them and cut out some of the foam on my pillion seat and inserted them so my gf ass dosnt take so much of a pounding while riding on the back.

Wait, that dosnt sound right.
