I can see how this is going to go now right...

Stoner will be on the Honda which clearly has really good stick down the straights, he'll be a danger to the title, everyone will bitch and moan that it's cause the bike is fast in a straight line and that he's shit.

Am I right?
Mitcho: Yep sounds about right. With that said, I don't think Honda will tolerate some of the petulance that Ducati seemed to let him get away with, especially now that they have the repsols dialed in and competitive again, even with Hayden making serious ground this year, Stoner was still Ducati's only real hope of a title and you have to assume that they kept him on a long leash to keep him happy and with them. I think Honda will realise they don't have to put up with his crap if they don't have to.
I honestly don't think he's _that_ bad, he's just a bit outspoken and gets a lot of publicity. Sure some of the shit he goes on with is rubbish but he clearly just hates not being on the top step of the podium!

Fact is he's one of the quickest guys in the paddock and unless he goes and shits on the Honda CEO's desk I don't think he's going to be booted off the team for sayin' it how it is.
I think it makes for an interesting 2011. This year is pretty much said and done... and still boring.

Not sure about the comments on stoner. Doohan was so straight forward that press was scared to ask questions. He told it like it was. Things have moved on with people expecting more info with more marketing spin.
Some media tend to have an agenda when writing articles. Anything British tends to hate stoner. What is interesting is that a site like Motogpmatters (US correct?) gives a very balanced view of the riders.
I think I shall just leave this here.

hmmm.. I think it's interesting that they said they want to keep both dovi and peddy .... (but of course, what else can they say I suppose ...)
photochopped to the brick shithouse.

i think we should change your nic again
this time we should make it Cap'n Obvious :s
I'm just sayin'
sometimes goodbye is a second chance
Makes me look forward to next year... Something better than just a few more rookies coming through.

I'd say there's a bit more weight behind the Rossi rumours now me thinks...
Stoner's put up a couple of good rides, but he's still a lippy bitch. Maybe on a Repsol bike he might get a bit hungrier, when dovi and pedrosa (who i still don't like) are riding past him while he gets used to the difference between Bonda and the Ducati.

Already suggested it mang..
I'm predicting Stoner will find his comfort zone at Honda and start to be a real threat next year. I would be surprised if Honda want to front three teams next year, so that would have to mean bumping Dovi.
So Rossi has signed with Ducati now. Wonder if he'll give it up after the 2 years when Massa's contract is up.

I think that will depend on how he goes on the ducati, I'm not sure if he will be keen to retire without winning a championship on one. Unless its total disaster and he doesn't think it's possible.

What I want to know is whether bergess is going with him or not.
hmmm looks like i will be torn next season between my support for rossi and my complete lack of desire to support the ducati team (which i have never been a fan of in the gp for some strange reason).

noticed nothing was said about what ben spies is doing but i predict he will be taking rossis places which should be an interesting combination. i have high hopes for spies!
Before anything interesting happens, someones gotta rival Lorenzo..
Dont really have much faith that anyone in the field can do this atm..
