Hi all. I'm new at this forum. I have an mc22 1991 with almost 100,000 kms. It runs very good except for a rattle coming from the right hand casing where the clutch is. I thought I better have a look so I took the sump and Rhs cover off. Found oil pump chain very loose ( stretched) Removed pump and checked clearances . All within specs. My question is. Obviously I need to replace the chain. Is there a chain with a master link. Will save a lot of work having to remove the clutch assy. And where can i purchase. Incidentally oil pressure cold around 50 psi and 20 psi hot at idle. Thanks in advance.

Just measure the chain, or take it with you and try a Honda shop. I think the part number is

15140-KT7-003
you can google the part number and there are lots of places advertising it. Just got to find one that has it....
Or take it to a local chain seller and they should be able to find you a generic one a lot cheaper that will do the job.
