Hey everyone and welcome :) I haven't been on this site since my last mc22 was stolen in early 2013.
Its good to be back!
So recently picked up an MC22 that was a little worse for wear.... and when I say a little, I mean ALOT.
(have to work out the photo situation)

Anyway, this is a thread of my build as it goes. I've decided to go streetfighter influenced for something different. My last bike was finished with the Tyga T8 kit and I loved it, however, why make the same thing thing twice?

So, as I said, this will be streetfighter, cafefighter influenced, so if you're not into that kind of thing I guess you can just leave instead of telling me I should have returned it to factory. That shit is boring!
This build will not happen overnight, so don't get your pants twisted.
I'd love to show you a photo of what it will look like when its done, but nothing I've found really matched it.

Suggestions and ideas most welcome. Enjoy :D

hey mate. all the electrical is hidden beneath the fuel tank. im still running the stock airbox so it was a very very tight squeeze. the fuses you speak of now rest behind the airbox / infront of the rear spring. I would never do it as its alot of mucking around if you are running a front fairing. All the relays and crap behind the gauges had to be relocated also to under the tank to keep it all clean. still unhappy with the amount of wires that have to run out the front... but you have to live with them i guess.

It is a slow build i guess, but i want everything to be quality and work 100%. Im not rushing anything and have all the time in the world... unfortunately $$$ is the issue.

Thanks for the love everybody. I promise to get some real photos when Im happy with it :)

Man this is looking really good. Incredible. It is almost exactly what I want to do with mine. And $$$ is the only thing holding me back so I understand :)

Any chance you could post up some detailed photos of how you did the wiring?

I would also love a bit more detail about the paint. Did you get everything powder coated? or did you do it all yourself? And if so what process did you use. Id really like to get my frame powder coated but $$$ is a big problem there.

Edit: Also keep up the pics! Post as many as you can, I cant wait to see more!
so it is still coming along.. slowly slowly. brakes are finished, dominator headlights are being painted and sprocket conversion on the way.
I NEED YOUR HELP!!!
im trying to find this screen for my headlights! if anybody can help me find it i will owe you MASSIVE. i found it online a couple of weeks ago but cannot find it again! its absolutely killing me.

If anybody has one or know where i can get this please let me know!

The whole build has been fun and i can promise shes not too far off now. plenty of photos to come when shes ready :)
exciting times.

I usually dont rate CBR street fighters at all but I like this one. Takes a bit of work to make these look any good as they are not aesthetic at all without fairings in standard form.

Thanks mate! i painted the frame myself with rattle cans. i used an expensive etch primer after cleaning the stripped down frame thoroughly and then used an expensive ($22 a can) gloss black in many many light coats. The fairings i had professionally painted in a custom color i chose. the wiring loom was cut and sliced, to extend necessary lines and terminate the unnecessary ones.
i have, affraid any aftermarket one will be too wide. defiantly an option :)
Looks great! Congratulations

Definitely try find a bellypan though. That'd be really smick
