A decent tune on a dyno is the best option, then some upgrade work to the suspension, then improve your riding skills.
Even in standard trim, these little bikes can deliver a lot for a competent rider. They will never beat a 1000 so do not even try.

Yeah, really need to do baseline run on dyno to get AFR. Then adjust accordingly.

These bikes are pig rich under WOT. You can get about 5% more power by leaning out mixtures.
