cheers for the heads up
since you sound like you have line-of-sight, you should get a few of them with a bb gun.

That's genius, open fire on the police.FireBlue said:cheers for the heads up

Was he giving it he berries? I had a quick read on this today and it seems that for the muffler itself to be legal it has to make less than x dB at a given RPM, however if a vehicle makes more than another dB limit then it's illegal, regardless of what it does at that set RPM limit, if that makes sense?ASTAR said:I'm sure they will move somewhere else during the day. So pick your detour well - you might just be riding straight towards them.
Thanks for the heads up. One of my friends got done for noise with a standard muffler on a R6 - the cops didn't believe it was quiet enough!
I don't think that applies anywhere in this country mate, only test I've ever heard of is stationary and at a published RPM figure.richo said:Was he giving it he berries? Hmm I could definitely be wrong.sir.b said:I don't think that applies anywhere in this country mate, only test I've ever heard of is stationary and at a published RPM figure.richo said:Was he giving it he berries? Justin.
I think you're probably talking about the drive by noise test, which is done during initial compliancing, but I don't believe is ever re-tested anywhere (too difficult and expensive).richo said:Hmm I could definitely be wrong.
The driveby noise test is an alternative to the stationary noise test. The stationary noise test is an EN/ECE test, whereas the drive by is/was an ADR one, although I'm pretty sure if you comply with either you're good, although they may have phased out the drive by.sir.b said:I think you're probably talking about the drive by noise test, which is done during initial compliancing, but I don't believe is ever re-tested anywhere (too difficult and expensive).richo said:Hmm I could definitely be wrong.
