Reigning seven time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has been ruled out of the remainder of his home Italian MotoGP after being diagnosed with a fractured right tibia.

Rossi suffered a big highside in Saturday morning practice and the injury also is also a big blow to his 2010 title hopes.

The #46 has never previously missed a race, since his 1996 debut in the 125cc class.

DAAANI! DAAANI! i was really hoping he'd take it out, i was jumpin around my living room when he got pole.

fingers were crossed for stoner on that last lap.
and another interesting comment was about hayden coming off, kinda shows that its not all stoner contributing to his poor season so far. apparently other ducati's are having the same trouble too.
Have you told Danni he has a fan yet? It might put a smile on his wittle robot fayse.

'tiK.
I know he has earned the right to go wherever he bloody well chooses, but I would really love to see Rossi take the suzuki or kawasaki offering (come baaaack!) and make it competitive.

Wasn't really feeling any of the races this round, 125/moto2/gp. Pleased Stoner reached the finish line though.

Funny you should mention the other Ducati's, don't forget this is the first year they've been given a bike that's ridable without 27 on your leathers in years....

The blonde one is Lauren and the brunette is Kate. There are six Monster girls and they'll be rotating throughout the season, but I know that Kate will be back in Silverstone and I think Lauren will be back in Assen or Barcelona....[hr]
By the way, poor Rossi.....I had a drink with some of the Yamaha crew yesterday and according to the contract they don't have to replace the rider for 2 races....after that, they'll see. I reckon they'll move Colin up (he's more consistent) for a couple of races. The head guys at Yamaha though don't want to, no one gives them enough data to improve their development like Vale.
The whole paddock seems to be just a little deflated at the moment...

While your information on the grid girls will, i'm sure, put a smile on many faces in here, can you do me a favour and suggest giving Valentino's bike to Spies for a few races? To someone that matters? Surely if you mention you are involved in CBR250.com they will recognize.
Lol already did. He just has to be more consistent in the next couple of races. I also suggested they put Troy Bayliss in cos he's not doing much at the moment and he's quicker than most around Mugello ;)

Love Ben Spies relaxed attitude though, he's so chilled. When asked what happened with his crash in Le Mans, his repsonse was "I dunno, just ran outta talent...." lol champion :)
Bayliss has been pretty straight up about the fact that if he makes a return it'll be on a duc. And Ducati have said if he wants back in all he's got to do is ask....

Massive Kudos for suggesting Bayliss! I think i'd rather see him on it that Spies. Make that happen. Do it. You have the powa!

Im not going to lie to you, you might have to seduce someone....
