I rang him to try and buy some stuff from him, he kept trying to sell me things I didn't want, paying more then advertised for delivery and making it sound like a good deal... I went elsewhere.

Fairing quality is supposed to be just as good as any other chinese fairing, so If you like his deals, they should not be a problem.

+1
I bought a windscreen off him and he sent it by some cheap-ass courier. It was just covered in a bit of thin plastic, and it arrived with one of the corners snapped off..
He didn't offer any money back or anything, he just tried to sell me another one...

If you buy anything off him I suggest you pick it up because his packing skills aren't exactly ace..

He always tries to sell me Tyga parts when I ask questions too.. Why the hell wouldn't I just buy off the Tyga website???

I am also interested in buying a set of fairings from ozzy... but prefer to get some feedback of people who have bought fairings from him.

Will he exchange/replace if the fairings get damaged during transit or incorrect or do not fit?

I ordered Tyga fairings off the guy as it was vheaper than buying through the Tyga website.

Do the math alex. Don't you think a Sydney based dealer would get cheaper rates than the cost of international shipping and conversion?

He is just starting out his company which may be why he comes across as eager, or whatever. I bought excellent quality Tyga stuff off him at a great price. End of story.

I've seen his ciblet stuff too. As good as Villamotor fairings which were the best of the online sellers.

I think that's a gross oversimplification Matt. You get what you pay for, unless you get a bargain or get ripped off, and both of those are incredibly realistic occurances.

I haven't seen said fairings in the flesh so I can't comment on quality, but when buying aftermarket fairings, quality is not always equivalent to price.

from what i've seen and heard from the prices he posts up here, he is filling the lower priced and of the market with the chinese made plastics. if heard of hits and misses with the chinese stuff, but from what i can see, it is a similar price point to the other cheap stuff, so a total rip off is not likely.

the tyga stuff he does as well, which fills the other end of the market.

i'm just gunna wait now, and see what he has to say for himself.

Hey guys.

ofcourse i have signed up to the new forum. Signed up ever since it started.

Our warranty covers any factory defects. Such as paint quality, fairing not fitting or totally wrong molds etc. However so far we have not had any complaints regarding fairings not fitting etc.

Also if we send out the wrong scheme, or a totally different model to what you aksed for we will send out a new kit.

Regarding broken bits etc, if you purchase the $25 insurance cover that will also protects you from any lost or damaged goods whilst in transit. we will send out a brand new kit if the item gets lost or damaged.

For forum members we will give out a bolt kit for only $10 with every purchase. We normally charge $25

I also read a post about the quality of chinese fairings. Let me get something clear for all forum members. The quality of chinese fairings are not all the same! there are 1000s of factories in Asia who produce these fairings and the quality varies from factory to factory.

I get phone calls from customers who say they purchased direct from Asia or they purchased of eBay but then once they recieve the item there are major problems with the quality such as mounting tabs being broken, runs in the paint, paint fading etc.

I am an Australian seller and i have made sure the quality we provide our customers are top notch!

If you have any other questions please email us!

:O So you will replace the correct fairing kit if you send one out that fits but doesn't fit perfectly (will brake soon) without the person returning the defect?

Had MOTO777 on ebay do good deals back in the days, but I always knew that these fairings were to dress her up for the time being. Places are starting to crack, chip, etc

Your in the parra area?

Iv ordered a kit through ozzymotorcyclefairings.

The paint quality is good for its price. But do bear in mind that fitting is not 100%.

Firstly, two rear side panels connecting to the rear tailight did not even fit. I had to drill the holes and make adjustments for the thing to sit properly.

Secondly, the two main side fairings do not sit properly and have to play around with it to make it fit, in the end you be damaging the paint where the screws sits because it does not align correctly.

Thirdly, make sure you get them to paint the inside of the front headlight fairing because they dont paint the inside so you will see masking and paint splatters from your dash view.

Shipping and packaging is fine, no problems here.

When i called about fitment issues, the reply was "well its chinese fairings thats how it is".

I pbly got a untested and unlucky batch but this is my experience. Dont expect OEM fitment. Im happy with the paint quality and clearcoat, but not the fitment.

this could turn into an epic thread, we have the supplier saying that he'll replace ANY parts that don't fit properly and then we have customers saying he won't.

continue.
