Just stripped my carbies right down to the bare essentials and gave them the best cleaning of their life after my whole "gasket in a tube" fiasco.
Now Ive cleaned the carbs before but it was jsut once overs the float bowls and jets.
Correct me if im wrong but are the pilot screw settings not meant to be roughly the same for each cylinder? My carbs were set up as follows and im pretty sure someones done a half ass job and put jets back in the wrong spot to.
1-4 (left to right sitting on bike)
1. 2. 3. 4.
main: 105 main:105 main:102 main:102
pilot: 35s pilot:35s pilot:35s pilot:35s
screw: 1 3/4 out. screw: 2 1/4 out screw: 1 3/4 out screw: 2 3/4 out
Shouldn't the pilot screw settings be roughly the same not over a full turn different as some of mine were? Also i know that stock jets are two sizes. but arent cylinder 2 & 3 meant to be one size and 1 & 4 another?
Got a bolt on straight through can on to obviously she wasnt jetted for it, would it be worth going up to 110s all round? (stock filter.)
