Hello I am in need of help again, this time I need to know whether an RGV250 wheel fits onto RS250 forks.

I have found a RGV wheel at a pretty good price and want to get it but I need to know the interchangeability.

I remember someone on the internet saying it was possible to interchange bits but i can't find the site again.

Any help is greatly appreciated!:D

It's unlikely the RGV wheel will fit straight up, but it can be done.

I'm pretty sure a few guys on the RGV forums have done it before, so have a look around there.

The long and short of it is you need to match up the wheel spacers, axle and brake rotor/caliper spacing.

This may mean you need a whole lot of machine work done ie. make new wheel spacers to centre the wheel, machine the RS axle to suit the RGV wheel, and make up spacers for the brake rotor to align it with the RS calipers.

Have fun.

Okay thanks for the advice, looks like I won't bother with the RGV wheels.

I went to the Aprilia forums and they said that a RSV wheel with non radial caliper will fit so I'll try find one of those or the RS wheel.
