i've already spoken to a couple of honda dealers and none of them stock a speedo cable for the mc19 as "its an import"
so im just wondering if anyone here knows where i can get a new one or if they have a spare one lying around in good condition
i dont mind paying for the cable + postage

also is the cable for the mc 19 and mc 22 the same?
coz all of the dealers have the mc 22 cables but not the mc 19 ones

i would take mine there and compare but i cant ride my bike anywhere coz my speedo doesnt work and i dont have a car

I haven't asked, but from their replies I assumed they were either not interested in ordering them or couldn't.
One of them said he checked the stock list of Honda Australia and none of the other dealers have them in stock.

Ah...true, i didnt think about that
so does this mean that the cable would calibrate the reading?
coz i had no idea that a cable would decide the speed based on the revs
i mean i thought any cable would do the same job

hopefully someone here has got a spare one i can buy

makes a lot more sense now, i'll see if i can find a dealer with a spada cable in stock and then take mine there to measure it
