everything will fit into everything else with enough motivation and cash
RE: CBR400 Evolution

i realise that, i should have said "direct bolt in" or "straight swap"?
RE: CBR400 Evolution

Got 'em both in the shed, not a hope in hell, the 400 is heaps bigger.

RE: CBR400 Evolution

there'd be other issues to deal with as well, like frame flex and stuff. easier to just buy a bigger bike :)
RE: CBR400 Evolution

Love the CBR 400, great look. Does she handle like the 250 in the twisties? This is my next beast to import over the winter.

Wait till you see the NC30 in the flesh Wally... you'll want one of those as well

400's are awesome bikes. I'd love to have one of each

Fair bit heavier and wider than the MC22 but for me it is better as the 250 is too small. The motor is better and with a few cheap mods can easily get 60hp

:/
your only getting 60hp from your cbr 400rr?
That's pretty common, most rvfs put out around that to with basic intake, exhaust and carby tunes
ahh, just mine has 71bhp at the rear wheel mind mine has a full yoshi system and jet kit but i thought they produced more than 60bhp standard

Actually 65, buts mods are minimal. Much over that and it's big money or an optimistic dyno.

I reckon that is a very optimistic dyno. 71 would require lots of engine work. Mine's got a full HRC exhaust, ram air, HRC CDI and jets,
full yoshi system and quite a bit of dyno time and uprated jet and it produces 71bhp. Some guys near my way have gotten over 100bhp out of them (through a turbo) but still 71bhp i think is quite good and respectable
