Like the Triumph Street Triple R and the Triumph Daytona 675!

So I'm getting my full license NEXT November, and I really want to get either one of these. I can't afford both unfortunately

Anyways, who has had experiences with either or both these machines?

I really like both and can't decide which one I'll end up with

I think there was a thread about it on the old forums. The street apparently has a flat spot somewhere that the triple doesnt? I think the 675 looks way better than the street. If I had to buy one, itd be the 675 fo sho

I would like the 675, but that riding position is no good for me so I would have to go the triple. It does look like wally.

I wonder if I could have the same riding position as the triple, but full fairing like the 675?

I haven't ridden the street, but owned a 2006 675 daytona for a short while, and it was fucking fantastic.. Great power delivery, almost intuitive handling and really looks the part..

The only downside is that the riding position is far too heavy on the wrists for city/commuter riding, but that's not why you buy a 675 anyway...

They're both great bikes, essentially the only real difference between them is fairings, subframe, and handlebars. I think the gearing ratio is lower on the street triple, I'm not sure if there is much difference in the engine state of tune. (Someone correct me here.)

I guess it's really up to you and what kind of riding position you prefer, I've ridden my mates 2006 Daytona extensively and haven't found any real issues with commuting, it's no different to any other sportsbike as far as riding position goes.

Walleeee says Daytona all the way. Too bad it does not have the single sided swing arm, something about seeing the open wheel look sweet.

That's the SPEED Triple, I was talking about the STREET Triple.

But the Speed Triple is also awesome, the single-sided swing-arm is just too sexy. I'm just not looking for a litre-bike though

675 would be swesome for the track/twisties but a pain in arse (wrists) on the street.
apparently the street triple is a wheelie monster too

I put my vote towards the Street Tripple.

Plenty enough for commute and twisties, and probably good enough for the track.

Street Triple if you plan on riding it everyday, Daytona if you plan on only using it occasionally. Having owned a R6 for 6months riding around 500kms a week it was killing my back commuting, so i bought a Street Triple and havent looked back. Absolutely awesome bikes, go test ride one and you'll love it.

Street Triple for day to day riding for sure! Daytona for a track machine. Daytonas put way to much pressure on your wrists for a daily commute. I find them quite uncomfortable.
