Lets start off the new site with something COOL!

Like the Triumph Street Triple R and the Triumph Daytona 675!

Street Triple R

Daytona 675

So I'm getting my full license NEXT November, and I really want to get either one of these. I can't afford both unfortunately :(

Anyways, who has had experiences with either or both these machines?

I really like both and can't decide which one I'll end up with :p

daytona 675. I have only ever sat on one but it felt like a great bike, everything was where it should be and I felt like I had room to move. It felt a lot bigger than it is.
Daytona can be a bit nervous and is particularly sensitive to setup prior to the 09 model, where they raked out the front a little and fiddled with the suspension. The street is a bit easier going in this regard.

The Street has been detuned, different cams, different exhaust different tune, down about 20-30hp I think and I found that it had a fair old torque hole around 4krpm that the 675 didn't have.

I found the 675 a little tiring to ride as well, just because it was a bit hard to grip the tank, so if you get one maybe buy some stomp grips for it or something.

All in all, I'd pick the 675 though... or the Speed triple, same equipment, same power as the 675 but a bit more stomp through the entire range.
I'll still be keeping my CBR125R for daily commute, so possibly leaning towards the 675.

you say this now, but going from 13hp to 100+hp you probably will sell the 125 :p you can put all the money from selling the 125 onto petrol for 2 - 3 years.
675!!!
Do it!
AWESOME BIKE!!!
not a huge fan of the triple, they are nice but I would kill for the 675:)
theyre both awesome bikes, you should probably just take both for a ride then see which you like more. I have only ridden the 675 and not the street triple R but the 675 is an unreal bike.

This will probably be true, but one step at a time :p
what's with you guys and riding with weight on your wrists? use your god damn core to hold you up.

I'm with merudo, go with what you feel more comfortable on/like the most after you test them both!
street triple!
I've owned my 675 for almost a year a now. It has SOOO much pull from down low.
Yes the ride position is one of the most aggressive of the 600s and it has shit all storage, but who cares!!! It looks hot…:p
For misc posing, street trip.

For go fasting, 675 without doubt.

This fact is true of all sports bikes isn't it, especially those with undertail zorst.
If you want storage buy a backpack or a gold wing
Maybe get saddlebags for the Daytona :D
Speed Triple for sure

:)
I think you should get the street triple so I can get the 675 =P
