hi guys

i didnt c any post about thermostat.

what would be good and cheap alternative for cbr 250?
any link would apriciate ;)

i haven't found one in irl yet, but have just taken ones from donor bikes. try bring it in to a motor factors see if they can get one. is it definitely stuffed? did you test it?

if u cant get a new one try a breakers, ie. city spares
it is broken all right ;) took it fallen apart from the chamber.

Theres a good generic brand one that Mootavic found a while back, you might want to PM him about it if he doesn't reply to the thread.
Yeah we found tridon thermostats that fit a treat. But being an australia company might be hard pressed to find one in the land of the irish.
any particular model i have to stick with from tridon thermostats guys?
in user manual says :
start to open: 80-84'C
full open: 95'C

which one do i have to take?

My book says TT239-180. I couldn't see it on that link.
Yeah a TT239 thermo from tridon. I run a 180 here to open abit early and bring the running temps down just a little bit. Though a 185 would be closer to the recommend opening temps from honda.
yeah, u r right Gus. the reason is that 250s likes to heat up when reving up to 19-20 especially in Australia heheh. good solution ;)
