I'm thinking,,,,,Mc17 & MC19 engines "should" be interchangeable, BUT, we all know how Japan changes silly things like electrical connectors seemingly at a whim ?
This info might help
MC14 (frame? numbers MC14-1000014 to 1015467)
Cbr250r (H-mc17) 1987 (MC17 1000006-1025449)
Cbr250r (J-Mc19) 1988 (mc17-1000006-1025499)
Cbr250r (K-mc19) 1989 (mc19-1050006-1067954)
Cbr250rr(L)1990-1991 (mc22-1000001-1020567)
Cbr250rr(N)1992-1993 (mc22-105001-1056770)
Cbr250rr(R)1994-1996* (mc1100001 ->) LAST YEAR OF PRODUCTION
The first year of a particular model's production has
Frame Numbers starting with -100, the second year of production is -105,
the third year is -110, etc.
