Not me, but 2-nd owner before me.
Not for capacity, but for repair. In Russia it is usual method of repairing when engine wearing out, bore become ellipse and compression become low = repairing by make bore wider and circle and install thicker rings. I guess why this method unknown here :huh:
...i can`t find this "repairing" thicker rings and don`t know, if mc17-22 rings fits. Need halp by hint :popcorn:

Mayed, its called re-boring the cylinder, which is a common procedure all over the world... chiselled means to do it by hand using a chisel like this one



You need to first find out what Oversize pistons you are using and then buy the rings from a site like this one

Once you have the part number, you could do a search and these guys may just have what you need

And there are only for mc22... Are dimensions of piston the same?
For example does this fits to mc14?
